KwaThema – Residents and youngsters participated in the games hosted by Killer Spot in KwaThema on Saturday.

During the event, people of all ages participated in yoga exercises and received free mouthwashes from Colgate.

The initiative was started in 2017 after the organisers identified the need to keep young people occupied during winter school holidays.

Founder Themba Mnguni says they were concerned about the number of young people being kidnapped, raped and terrorised in the community, especially during school holidays.

“Criminals target young people who are found roaming the streets without the presence of an adult.
