Developing the community through sports

The programme caters to u-13s, u-16s and u-18s.

KwaThema – The KwaThema Bulls have started a sports development programme.

This is in relation with the marking of the second phase of the KwaThema Sports Confederation in creating and promoting different sporting codes.

Thandokuhle Kunene, captain of the KwaThema Bulls, says: “The turnout is still a bit low, but all sporting codes are determined to drive this initiative forward, those being basketball, netball, bodybuilding and aerobics, soccer, karate, athletics, cricket and rugby.”

The programme caters to u-13s, u-16s and u-18s.

For boys, the programme will run on Mondays and Wednesdays at BuliThando Park from 3pm to 4.30pm.

For girls, the programme will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at BuliThando Park from 3pm to 4.30pm.

The programme will also be played on Saturdays (June 29, July 13, July 27, August 10, August 24, September 7, September 21 and October 5).
