Funeral home hosts fun walk to promote healthy living

The event was attended by over 2000 vibrant and energetic people of all ages.

KwaThema – Tshipi-Noto Funeral Home celebrated 17 years of being in business by giving back to the community.

The local business embarked on the third annual fun walk of 5km and 10km at the KwaThema Sports Complex on June 16.

The event was attended by over 2 000 vibrant and energetic people of all ages.

It was a nice family day out, a cow was slaughtered for participants, entertainment was provided and refreshments were distributed.

Molapho Radebe, assistant marketing manager of Tshipi-Noto, explained the event was more than creating a brand awareness and more about connecting with and giving back to the community they operate in.

“The aim is to encourage living a healthy and positive lifestyle and creating health awareness,” says Radebe.

Doreen Mokgolo, African Reporter journalist who was at the Fun Walk, says: “It was well put together compared to other fun walks I have participated in.

“It was real nice and fresh, I enjoyed the vibe and the people’s energy.”
