KwaThema –TDK Original Makhased from KwaThema has gained momentum following the release of his hit single titled Haibo which features the likes of Sifiso ‘Hitboy’ Mbebe and Sibusiso’ CeeBoo’ Tshabalala. The single was released on May 8.
The single is available on all music streaming platforms.
Makhased who has been working on his debut album has finally released an Extended Play (EP) titled Ezase Stradini EP.
The EP consists of a combination of high energy flow, melodious raps and heartfelt lyrics.
The music is punctuated with elements of hip hop, rap music, kwaito and a bit of pop.
The talented rapper, who is a producer and a songwriter, says he was brought up in a musical household. “My mother is a good singer, so I was exposed to lots music as a child.
“Since then my style has developed, and I have incorporated other sounds and genres which all have made their way into the EP.”

The EP is set to reflect challenges and life experiences faced by ordinary people.
It promises lots of artistical growth and development.
“The EP is to encourage society to fight the war against self-ignorance and to also allow me to explore fresh sounds.”
His previous projects include a mixtape which was released in 2009’s Dom A and an album in 2010 titled Dom A.
TDK has performed at various events. These include the Miss Tsakane Mall, YFM Kasi Tour, SATMA awards, Hype Magazine Workshops, Mayoral staff meeting, Rock da Girls and a whole range of others.

He was nominated in the best upcoming artist category at the Live Your Dream Award (LYDA) in 2018.
