KwaThema – Former drug user Phillip Jones Mohlabeng (25) is the founder of the Drug Free Movement to help people who are trying to change their lives.

“I started the movement because of my personal struggles and my experiences as a former drug user myself.”

Phillip says he started abusing drugs at the age of 15 due to peer pressure.

Phillip explains that he was also helped in fighting his addiction; hence he is also giving back to the community.

“I was helped in fighting the addiction and that truly changed my life and taught me that we as people we need to work together and support one another to overcome our daily struggle.”

They are asking for the community to assist them with food, toiletries and clothing items.
