Duduza – Siyabonga Mavuso (25) was killed by an angry mob on Wednesday afternoon.
He had been involved in an argument with another resident earlier that day.
It is not clear what they were arguing about.
Mavuso was later seen walking back towards the man’s home in Cool Breezy section, holding an axe.

Duduza SAPS communications officer Sgt Harry Manaka says the resident, out of panic, blew a whistle to alert the community to the danger.
“The community then chased Mavuso until they caught him and started beating him up with sjamboks until he died,” Manaka says.
Manaka says the suspects have been arrested and detained while the deceased’s body was taken to the Heidelberg Government Mortuary.
“They will appear in the Nigel Magistrate’s Court on charges of murder soon,” he added.
