A couple was attacked on the N12 as the wife was getting off the taxi Tuesday night.
The woman had just stepped off the taxi and her husband was unloading her bags when they were approached by two men who were armed with a firearm.
The suspects stole the couple’s money and luggage.

Furthermore, the man was tied up and the woman was raped repeatedly.
After the robbery and rape, the couple was left on the road where they were eventually found by the Etwatwa police.
A case of armed robbery and rape has been opened at the Springs Police Station.
