Tsakane – Two armed men robbed a salon owner and customer of their money and cellphones on Monday evening.
It is alleged the men walked into the salon after the owner had closed for business, but was still finishing a customer’s hairstyle.
Tsakane police spokesperson Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu says the men, aged between 21 and 25, entered the salon and robbed the owner of the salon, the complainant, and the customers of their money and cellphones.

“The suspects fled the scene after robbing them and locked up the victims inside the salon.
“It is also alleged the suspects were on foot but could not be identified by the victims,” she says.
Mngomezulu says they are urging business people to be vigilant and not keep large sums of money on them.
“Anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts should please inform the police,” she adds.
