Residents get to test for free

“When the cancer cells are found at an early stage, the doctors are able to help fight and remove them.”

Daveyton – Members of the community were screened and tested for cancer during the prostate cancer awareness campaign held by CanSurvive at the Daveyton Hall on Wednesday.

Health workers and the members of the community took turns to find out the results of their health.

Event organiser and CanSurvive director Ronnie Nkabinde says they have been hosting cancer workshops since last year July.

“During the workshops we identified the need to host the event and educate residents about the importance of taking responsibility for their health.
