Man sentenced to ten years for assault
“Tiisetso assaulted a 27-year old female so badly she had to be hospitalised”
Tsakane – 27-year-old Tiisetso Kgwari was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court last Wednesday.
He was arrested and charged with assault ad intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and a woman had to end up in hospital last year.
Tsakane police spokesperson Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu says Tiisetso had assaulted a 27-year-old female badly that she had to be hospitalised.

“The sentence came after only one year of investigation by Warrant Officer Kganedi James Mabitsela who made sure that he gathers all the
information he needed for justice to be served.
“Tsakane SAPS would like to send a strong message to the community that no crime is too little or too big to be given attention. All the cases are a priority to all investigation officers,” he says.
