- Creating a geometric wall art using tape.
If you live in an apartment or home that you can’t paint, this is an easy and fun way to decorate your home. When your doing a geometric wall there are no rules to them. We all have done some bit of geometry. So, when your laying your tape on the wall you can make your shapes as big or as small as you want. You can have them facing in one direction or different it is all up to you. It is crucial to always have a layout of where you want everything to be.
- Making a photo clothesline.
This has a more personalized touch because pictures carry different memories. You will need all the photos that you are going to display. Secondly, find a string or a ribbon that you will use to attach the pictures. You will also need clips that you can decorate on your own. Measure up your string to how long you would like it to be and just hang the pictures with the clips.
- Colour the wall with coloured paper tape streamers.
Toss the streamers back and forth to get the desired length. Using tape lay it out on the ground and overlap the streamers on it. They should be of multiple colours. Hang the strands on the wall. You can repeat this as much them until you have the number of desired streamers.
- Making a beaded curtain from straws.
This can be bit of work since you will need over 500 drinking straws, beads, cable, thread and a long needle for ribbon embroidery. Measure the length of your door, it should be the same size as the electric cable. Take the thread and start inserting the beads and the drinking straws. This can take up to 80 threads. Using a hot knife makes notches on the electric cable that are one centimeter apart. Then start hanging the threads with straws. To hold the straws more use a tape and finally you can hang your straw beaded curtain.
- Making tissue paper flowers.
There is a fun way to use tissue rather than what they are known for. They can be used to make round colourful flowers. You will need tissue paper, scissors and pins. Fold two sheets of tissue paper into halves around three times. Make a triangle and trim off the edges. Unfold it to make an accordion and again trim the edges. Fluff the tissue paper to make a flower.
