Seven-year-old KwaThema boy missing

Bongani Mthembu (7) went missing on Saturday after being seen playing at Bulithando Park.

KwaThema – According to his mother, Kedibone Mthembu, the family noticed that he was not back home around 8pm.

That is when they started to look for him and asked neighbours and his friends.

Some alleged they last saw him at Bulithando Park, not far from his home.

A preliminary investigation was conducted by members of the KwaThema SAPS with the boy’s parents.

They searched around the victim’s residential area, Bulithando Park, Far East Rand Hospital, Pholosong Hospital and phoned surrounding police stations to no avail.

A task team was then formed, consisting of sector police members, metro police, the K9 squad, FCS members, and duty officers, both parents of the victim.

The boy has still not been found.
