Man arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen goods

Duduza – 25-year-old man has been arrested in possession of suspected stolen items on Thursday morning.

The police made a breakthrough after they received a tip-off from the community.

The police had been searching for the man the previous night in connection with the business burglaries in the area.

Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka says the police responded to the information.

“They found the man in his shack and found the groceries and electrical appliances worth R8 000 presumably to be stolen from the tuck shop in Masechaba.

“He will appear before the Nigel Magistrate’s Court Soon on charges of possession of suspected stolen properties.
