KwaThema – A night of clubbing ended in mourning after 38-year-old Bhekithemba Makhonde was stabbed to death on Sunday evening.
It is alleged, together with a friend, the deceased had an argument with two suspects while on their way home from a tavern.

KwaThema spokesperson Captain Thabo Sibuyi says it is alleged during the argument one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired two shots while the deceased was fighting with the other.
“When he turned around he saw the deceased’s body with stab wounds in his chest,” he says.

Sibuyi says the police are investigating a case of murder and no one has been arrested to date.
“We are calling on anyone with information that might assist with the investigations to come forward,” he says.
