Tsakane – It is alleged the victim’s mother left the house for work in the morning, leaving her daughter with her boyfriend.
Tsakane police spokesperson Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu says the mother had allegedly forgotten something at home and decided to walk back a few minutes later.

“She found her boyfriend raping her daughter.
“The matter was reported to the police and the suspect was arrested,” she says.
Mngomezulu says the police are appealing to the community not to turn a blind eye to rape.
“By not speaking out or reporting a criminal offence is a criminal offence and those guilty will be prosecuted by the court of law.
“Do not leave your children with people who you don’t trust,” she says.
