Tsakane – The arrests were a result of the EMPD operation in the area.
Tsakane police spokesperson Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu says the operation saw a 39-year-old man being arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

“A 27-year-old for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition, another 27-year-old for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
“The vehicle was stolen in Actonville.
“A 29-year-old suspect was arrested for being in possession of an illegal substance and a 30-year-old was arrested for fraud,” she says.

Mngomezulu says it is alleged the fraud suspect was arrested after a thorough investigation on the possession of a stolen motor vehicle that led to house number 7342 Pedi Street, Tsakane.
“The suspect was producing fraudulent licence discs, which were found in his possession.
“They also found South African Police Service Oaths, date stamp, a Gauteng Department of Education stamp, three laptops, four printers, one monitor and two computer towers,” she says.
