Springs businessman hosts business expo for young entrepreneurs in KwaThema

Talented artists and businessmen have partnered to host a business exposition in KwaThema.

Springs actor and businessman Mandla Sibeko says the project is a result of their concern for the ’hood.

“I believe in KwaThema and all the talented young people in it.

“I am just saddened to see that most of them are not reaching their full potential.”

The founder and director of East Come Alive Youth Organisation says there is a great need for mentorship and networking.

“Whatever you are doing to generate an income can be expanded.”

Mandla Namo, the founder of Tender Loving Kids, says they are also reaching out to artists and performers.

“If you are a performer, your talent is your business.

“So, we want to help you acquire the skills you need.”

The Rise Up KwaThema Business Expo will take place on April 30.

The organisers are inviting young people who are active in business.

“We want to understand what their challenges are so that we can make sure that the stakeholders, who will be present on the day, address those issues,” says Sibeko.

Namo and Sibeko will host the meeting on March 27 at 9am at KwaThema Skills Centre.
