WATCH: Naz Millionz is building his empire

‘Typical boy from the East’ Naz Millionz is taking on the big stages and promises to bank the millions soon.

Springs – A typical boy from the East, he says he was always charismatic yet seemingly introverted.

“I dreamt of gracing the biggest platforms in pursuit of this ultimate dream, to become an influential voice for the youth of South Africa.’

Anathi Mngomane, otherwise known as Naz Millionz is a 24-year-old hip-hop musician.

Naz Millionz has gone on to win the Hunters Dry #startsomething campaign where he was afforded the opportunity to open for one of South Africa’s biggest musical acts, Yanga.

But his success had its fair share of challenges.

“After experiencing various industry challenges, I decided to go study.

“I pursued a BA degree majoring in English and media studies, which would later prove to be useful in my career.”

He says his degree has helped in building a brand out of his musical artistry and learning the various surrounding elements that go towards artistry, other than music production itself.

“I am a writer at heart,” adds Naz Millionz.

He runs two online blogs, one of which reflects the current flow of local content within the South African entertainment industry called The African Beast. The other is a Wordpress blog showcasing his photography and copywriting aspirations.

“I want to propel my musical career by creating a solid infrastructure that will host the flow of profit to drive my musical intentions.”

Naz was named as the Underdog Winner for the month of August 2017 on the online platform Slikour On Life through a public voting system.

He also performed at multiple shows including the Klerksdorp Street Festival in 2016 with over 5000 people at Brazil stadium.
