“Our children have been doing exceptionally well in sport in the past few years, and it’s paying off,” says coach Nkambule.

“In 2016 we managed to get second prize for participation.”

Nkambule says she was also pleasantly surprised when they won first place in the provincial gymnastics competition in Pretoria.

“The learners are really putting their best foot forward every time we compete with other schools.”

Principal Nzoyi says Nkambule is doing wonderful work, and is dedicated and passionate about sport.

“Learners should be developed holistically, therefore sports and culture activities are very important,” she adds.

“I would like to encourage parents to allow their children to participate because not all children are gifted academically, so these activities give them an opportunity to explore their gifts and talents.”
