Couples seminar at Centre of Hope Ministries

Pastor Beshu creates a platform for couples to discuss burning issues while discovering God’s purpose for their marriage.

Tsakane – Pastor Bafana Beshu invites couples to join a discussion with the aim of discovering the original purpose of marriage.

After observing similar struggles in their lives and the lives of the people around them, Behsu with his wife Mmule decided to go on of journey of self-discovery.

“We often make the mistake of doing things just because they have always been done.

“That is why when we face challenges we give up.”

He says purpose is what encourages people to fight through the rough times.

“We saw a need for conversations that will not only inspire us but equip us on how to excel in our marriage.”

Last year Beshu and his wife, founders of Centre of Hope Ministries, hosted their first couples seminar.

“The intention is to bring every issue to the table, from blended families to health issues.

“But we are doing it the way God intended for marriage to be.”

He believes that the best way to understand something is to ask its creator.

“God created marriage.

“And we want Him to teach us how to do it right,” he adds.

This year on the program, among others, is Dr Stan Leketi who will address health issues and how they affect marriages.

“When people say ‘in sickness and in health’ they really do not imagine that their spouse will be sick at any point.

You really hope it never happens, but then it does.”

He believes that there are many couples who are too embarrassed to enquire about conditions, especially of sexual health.

“We have so much knowledge around us, let us put it to good use.”

The event will take place on February 23, at Centre of Hope Ministries, Extension 5C, at 5pm.
