“Be a job creator, not a job hunter”

Clenozat Generic Skills Development is helping the youth become more marketable by making business skills development programs available to them.

Duduza – Clenozat Generic Skills Development successfully supported five unemployed young people through an accredited training program.

“Our objective is to enable the youth to contribute to economic upliftment and job creation.

“We will achieve this by up-skilling and assist them to start businesses or manage existing businesses effectively,” explains Clement Khumalo, founder and director of Clenozat.

The year-long NQF level 2 qualification, offered by The Institute for Sustainable Risk Management (ISRM), is said to impart learners with the required knowledge and skills in order to be marketable in the working environment.

“High unemployment increases the need for people to be trained and educated in order to provide for themselves.

“Entrepreneurial training and teaching is one way of satisfying this need.”

The ceremony took place at Faranani Resource Centre last Thursday.

Thandeka Mhlongo (25) who already had a diploma in office administration says: “the knowledge and skills I acquired through the course inspired me”.

“I am ready to break the glass ceiling and I plan to start my own business as a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplier and supply all Kwatsaduza industrial sector with my garments and enforce safety compliance.”

“We appeal to all unemployed youth, especially young women, interested in entrepreneurship basic skills to contact us,” said Khumalo.
