Tshegofasto wants to experience elevated worship

‘Fatso’ is ready to showcase another level of glory in ‘Elevated worship’.

Tsakane – Tshegofatso ‘Fatso’ Ramogale is ready to experience another level of worship.

The nineteen-year-old psychology student says he has always known that there is something more to draw from “church worship”.

“We have made worship about gimmicks.

“And sometimes we connect with people’s voices and we react emotionally, then we think we have worshiped God.”

But he believes that true worship is internal.

“It not just about the music, but making a lasting impact.

“This comes only when we begin to understand the magnitude of His majesty,” he adds.

Fatso will host ‘Elevated Worship’ on February 3, at Back to God Christian Fellowship Church in Tsakane.

“Although it will be a platform to showcase my talent, I really would like people to come with an attitude of worship.”

He says performing at last year’s first Ekurhuleni Gospel Awards stand out as the highlight of his young career.

“I sang my own composition, so I didn’t really expect people to get into the song that quickly.

“It was overwhelming.”

He says the fact that some of the artists he looks up to were in attendance was the cherry on top.

The former Explosion member believes he has found his style.

“Most of the songs in the show are composed by me.

“A lot of hard work has gone into this project.”

Tshegofatso and his team will also be collecting school uniforms and stationery to be donated later on.

“Please bring whatever you can.

“Even a single reading book can make a difference in a child’s life.”
