Include the Springs Advertiser and African Reporter in your Facebook favourites

New Facebook rules may mean you miss out on the news - but there is a remedy.

Recently Facebook announced changes to its news feed will come into effect soon.

These changes will see content from media (all the Addie content you regularly see on your Facebook feed) no longer featuring as prominently on your wall.

While the move was made, Facebook claims, to get back to Facebook’s core mission of connecting friends and family, the fact remains that many people find their news on this platform.

However, this need not mean that you miss out on the new from Springs and Kwatsaduza.

You can now make the Springs Advertiser or African Reporter your favourite websites and include them in the list of sites you wish to see first on your feed.

When you select one of our titles’ pages it will appear at the top of your news feed.

Here is an easy four step guide to help you add us to your top list of sites to read:

  1. Make sure you are following our sites(Springs Advertiser and African Reporter);
  2. In the bar to the left of your screen, just under your name, select News Feed;
  3. Select Edit Preferences;
  4. Click Prioritise who to see first;
  5. Select a page to see first.

You can select up to 30 people or Pages to see first and we bet, as loyal Springsites, the news from your own backyard is top of your list of pages to view, so go on and make us your number 1 news site.
