The 18-year-old beauty aims to become a household name while putting Ekurhuleni on the map.

KwaThema – Melissa Riba, Miss Inspire South Africa 2018 contestant, is not just a pretty face.

Her middle name ‘Nobuhle’ means ‘Mother of beauty and goodness’, and this pageant queen has certainly lived up to it.

The 18-year-old beauty says she is on her way to becoming a household name while putting Ekurhuleni on the map.

“I truly believe that all of my achievements benefit more than just me.

“And it is also true that I would not be where I am without the contribution of the people who support me.”

Since being crowned Miss Kenneth Masikela Secondary School 2014/5, Melissa has had her heart set on new territory.

“I had always taken part in local pageants, and that is how I have grown.

“But now I am ready to take on a bigger challenge.”

For Melissa, Miss Inspire South Africa is about celebrating strong, committed young women who are willing to represent the community as goodwill ambassadors, becoming the role models of today while strengthening our country for tomorrow.

Melissa needs the community’s support to win the final round of the pageant, which takes place in March.

“The competition is in its semi-final stage,” she explains.

“There are 10 beauty ladies remaining, and I am one of them.”

To help her win the crown, SMS ‘Melissa Riba’ to 47439 (each SMS costs R3, free SMSes do not apply).

You can also follow her on Instagram and Facebook under Melissa Nobuhle.

“My goal is to ensure that no one who has made it possible for me to get to the final regrets it,” she says.

“I am so ready for this.”
