Family honours learners at awards ceremony

The Dorothy Teke Library at Fred-Habedi Primary School held its 10th annual awards ceremony on December 5.

The aim of these awards is to reward and encourage learners with the highest grade average and those who excelled in the school’s reading competition per grade.

This year again, the Tekes rewarded all 16 outstanding learners with a R3 000 Woolworths shopping voucher.

All of the school’s 832 learners were treated with a meal and toy from a popular fast food outlet.

The school’s principal, Nomvula Madi, together with the staff, learners and parents would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Teke family for the support, caring and uplifting of Fred-Habedi Primary School.
