Printing mogul on the rise

Young business owner, Neville Sibuye, has dreams of becoming a printing mogul.

Langaville – Young business owner has dreams of becoming a printing mogul.

Neville Sibuye started printing coffee mugs to make extra cash while he was in high school.

“It was an idea that grew on me over time and the more I understood it, the more I wanted to do it full-time.”

He started his company, NGS (Neville Gezani Sibuye) Printing last year and he has since been able to permanently employ seven people.

“People have great ideas but they just get distracted by other things along the way.

We should help each other.”

Neville firmly believes in mentorship as one of the ingredients of successful entrepreneurship.

“Someone who has a bigger business than you have, or has more experience, can show you many things you would not realise on your own.

“They give you perspective.”

He says his mentors also introduced him to people in his industry.

“A lot of people want to do things by themselves but we actually need so much help,” he adds.

Neville also thinks that synergy is crucial.

“Working hand in hand with other people will help you to get things done quicker.

“Greed makes you want do everything yourself instead of outsourcing the services you know you aren’t very good at.”

He also believes in partnering with bigger companies that help with quality control.

“If any of my clients are not satisfied, I can count on them to fix the issues.

“I also spend a lot of time marketing.”

Neville says focusing on understanding his business, and resisting the temptation to live the ‘fancy’ life will make him a success.
