KwaThema – Lethokuhle Community Education Centre is grateful for the latest donation they received from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Grant Aid recently.
The donation will help the centre to run its programmes.
Centre founder Ntombizodwa Busang says the grant will benefit seven foster children by being put towards their educational needs.
“We are grateful for the donation because we have been running the programme on a dry budget.
“We often had to dig deep into our pockets to afford some of their immediate needs.
“We are calling on other business people and departments to come forward to help us help these children.
“It takes a village to raise a child.
“We cannot make it alone without the help of the community,” she says.
