Business expo to unearth budding entrepreneurs

Inter-Great Youth Organisation is ready to host its fourth annual business expo in Duduza.

Duduza – Inter-Great Youth Organisation is ready to host its annual business expo.

Nkosinathi Zwane, the organisation’s chairperson, says their desire is to empower young entrepreneurs ekasi.

“We want to encourage the youth to pursue business and create jobs for themselves and others.”

This is the fourth year that the organisation will put on the expo.

Charlene Ndlovu, the project’s coordinator, says it is important for young business owners to have one-on-one conversations with corporates.

“Not only will they have an opportunity to ask questions, but to network and pitch ideas as well.

“We are tired of workshops where people present information and leave us with more questions.”

The expo will also afford businesses the opportunity to expose products in stalls.

Nkosinathi says more than 10 companies from Ekurhuleni have already confirmed their attendance at the expo.

The main themes that will be explored are business registration, marketing, business planning, sustainability and growth.

“We are still inviting companies who want to encourage young people to come on board.”

The event will take place on November 3, at Duduza Multipurpose Centre, from 9am.

They are inviting interested youth to contact Charlene Ndlovu on 073 424 0878 or Nkosinathi Zwane on 084 824 5532.

“The expo is not for Duduza only.

“We would like people from all over Ekurhuleni to come and attend,” says Zwane.
