A call to the wounded

Pastor Mapule wants to help community face old wounds and trust God to restore them.

KwaThema – Pastor Mapule More is inviting the community to the 7th annual ‘Bleeding will stop’ conference next Saturday.

“I started this conference after I invited pastor Sthembiso Zondo to encourage women in their different circumstances.

“That was 2011.”

Pastor Mapule believes, drawing from her own past, many people are walking around with old wounds that have not healed.

“We have burdens and scars that we have learned to camouflage so well, but inside we are dying.

“Many people have material things but they can’t sleep peacefully at night.”

She says the conference, through its speakers, gives people the platform to deal with their issues and realise that they are not alone.

“I have many testimonies of how people have been comforted and they found solutions, just by attending the conference.

“God has called me to the ministry of restoration.”

Pastor Mapule is extending a special invitation to men.

“When I started the conference I thought it would only serve women.

“But over the years I noticed small numbers of men attending.”

She says the conference is for everyone.

The event will be held on October 28 at Phelang School from 11am.

The guest speaker for the day is young and vibrant Pastor China Khanye.
