Deputy School principal shot and killed

Duduza – Deputy Principal at Edalinceba Primary School was shot and killed on the school grounds by three unknown men on Tuesday morning.

It is alleged the men entered the school premises claiming they were electricity technicians.

Duduza police spokesperson, Sgt Harry Manaka, says it is alleged the men asked the school administrator to allow them to see the deputy principal.

“Before the deceased reached the reception area to attend to them, he was hit by four bullets to his upper body.

“He was declared dead at the scene.

“It is alleged the suspects arrived in a Mazda 323 but left by foot.

“The motive for the murder is still unknown and no one has been arrested.

“We are investigating a case of murder.

“We are calling on anyone with information about the whereabouts or anything that could lead the police to the suspects, to inform the police on 10111 or (011) 730-4700/4850,” says Manaka.
