Fashion week invites designers

KwaThema – Young and upcoming local fashion designers are invited to submit entries to showcase their designs during KwaThema Fashion Week.
The event will be hosted on September 9 from 11am to 6pm at the KwaThema community hall.
Event organiser, Phillip Mohlabeng says the event will give the designers free marketing and advertising for their work.
“This is a platform for local designers who have limited resources to introduce their brands to the market.
“We have identified that a lot of young people are great designers but end up giving up because there is only a limited space to showcase their talent.
“During the event, there will be celebrity designers who will be scouting for talent. The best designers will get an opportunity to showcase their work on Sky Law online shop.”
He also says the event will allow designers to have their brands marketed and sold across the world. It is an opportunity that local designers can’t afford to miss. The best designers will win a sponsorship from Sky Law.
Phillip says those who are interested in taking part in the event must register a week in advance.
“This will enable us to manage the size of the event and know how many people are interested.
