Duduza – The body of a man in his late 30s was found with visible beating wounds all over his body, on Saturday.
Duduza police spokesman, Sgt Harry Manaka, says the reason for the murder is still unknown but it seems the wounds may have been inflicted with a sjambok.
“The police are following information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
“The suspects are still unknown and no one has been arrested.
“We have a strong belief some of the residents may have witnessed or heard about the brutal assault but they are scared of coming forward.
“We are appealing to anyone with information regarding the incident to contact their nearest police station or call the SAPS crime stop line on 08600 10111.
“They can also sms information to 32211.
“Those who will come forward are assured that the information will be treated with confidentiality,” he says.
