Music producer ready to leave his mark

“My love for beat making was born from a very young age where I would create beats using teaspoons, tables and pots".

KwaThema – Music producer, Nkosinathi aka ‘Narco’ Memela, is ready to mark his territory in the music industry.

The 30-year-old is a multi-talented beat maker, engineer and songwriter.

He has worked with upcoming artists from Ekurhuleni which include Savage Sossa, ConVince, Bongo Riot and Steezy Stylish – just to name a few.

“My love for beat making was born from a very young age when I would create beats using teaspoons, tables and pots.

“I loved the different sounds that came from these ‘instruments’ and decided to follow a career in beat making.

“I moved to Gauteng from KwaZulu Natal with the aim of improving my skills in music. I taught myself to use different music software like Fruity Loops and Reason on my brother’s laptop.

“I later saved enough money to afford my own music equipment and continued to sharpen my production skills whilst working with aspirant artists.

Narco says he is working hard to be one of Mzanzi’s best music producers. “I know that dedication and hard work will enable me to reach my dreams,” he concludes.
