Drug dealers cleaned off the township streets

Police clean community of drug dealers.

Daveyton – Drug dealers in the area have been swept off the streets after a police bust on Wednesday.

This is after the tracing unit arrested two drug dealers in Daveyton and Benoni.

It is alleged that the first suspect, a 28-year-old man, who stays at Extension 2, Daveyton, was found with Crystal Meth.

Metro Police spokesman, Clifford Shongwe, says the suspect led police to the second suspect (27), who is originally from Nigeria was arrested in Benoni.

“The first suspect confessed that he has been selling drugs and got supplies from the Nigerians.

“The two were detained at Daveyton and Benoni police stations respectively and will appear soon at respective magistrates courts,” he says.
