Church stands up against women abuse

Church is saying enough is enough against the brutal killings and abuse of women and children.

Tsakane -World Outreach Centre is joining the fight against the abuse of women and children.

The event will be hosted during the First Annual Address to Men and Women on July 1.

Event organiser Bongani Lubisi says the initiative is in response to the increasing abuse and gruesome killings of women and children.

“During the event we will be engaging men and women to establish some of the reasons behind some of these actions,” he says.

“We are saying that we have heard the cries of the females in our lives.

“We are ready to help each other, as men, to turn around our actions.

“We are saying enough is enough,” he says.

Bongani says they know there are people within the church who are abused but don’t have a platform to express their emotions.

“We are saying we are here for men who are dealing with anger.

“We are ready to listen and give a shoulder to cry on and help come up with solutions.

“No one will judge the other, but we are saying we are ready to help fight this behaviour.

“The event will be hosted at Ekurhuleni World Outreach Centre, which is located at the corner of Banana and Mugabe streets in Tsakane Extension Five,” he says.
