Teen (17) arrested for rape

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the rape of a three-year-old.

KwaThema – A teenager (17) has been arrested and admitted into a juvenile institution for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl.

KwaThema police spokesperson Capt Thabo Sibuyi says the teen was arrested after the mother noticed blood on the child’s underwear on Friday while preparing to bath her, at about 9.30pm.

“Seeking answers, she questioned the young girl who revealed some shocking information.

“The girl disclosed a teenage boy had put his finger and a pen in her private parts.

“He was arrested on the same day and charged with rape.

“The teenager will appear in court soon,” Sibuyi says.
