It is alleged that the two were fighting during school hours when the suspect pulled out a knife to defend herself.

Tsakane police spokeswoman Lerato Mngomezulu says that an officer from the Social Crime Prevention Unit was called to the school by the principal.
“Sergeant Ramaesa was called to the school by the principal; the victim had already been rushed to hospital.

“The suspect was arrested and a case of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm was opened at the Tsakane Police Station,” Mngomezulu says.
