Imbizo for prayer

KwaThema - Local religious groups are inviting the entire community of KwaThema to a prayer meeting on Sunday.

This gathering is aimed at praying for help against the various social ills that are affecting this township.

Pastor Mapule More says this will be the first prayer meeting for the entire community, and any churches or individuals are welcome.

“As religious leaders from around KwaThema, we came together and decided to organise this event, so that the community can come together and pray.

“We are very concerned about the number of murders, deaths due to other causes, drugs, alcohol abuse and children who are spiralling out of control.

“We therefore believe that the community is crying out for help,” she says.

More adds that this prayer is to ask for God’s intervention in KwaThema.
