Money and groceries taken in business robbery

KwaThema - Police are searching for a group of robbers, following an attack on a tuckshop in Ramothibe Street on Monday at about 5pm.

“A woman (50) working at the tuck shop was stunned when she saw two unknown men break the burglar door of the shop.

“The men told her not to make a noise, and shortly after a group of men rushed in.

“She managed to run into the house to call the owner of the shop,” says Capt Thabo Sibuyi.

When the owner and the worker went back to the shop, the culprits had trashed the place and fled with some groceries and R1 850.
