This comes after police chased down the duo, who were driving a BMW X5.
The motor vehicle is believed to have been involved in a hijacking that took place in Boksburg earlier this month.

“While the chase was in progress, the driver of the vehicle in question caused an accident between a state vehicle and another private car.
“The accident happened at the corner of Gelukdal and Twelve roads.

“As a result, a woman (the owner of the private vehicle) was injured and rushed to hospital for medical treatment along with a reservist, Constable Kgomotso Mashiyanoke, who was a passenger in the police vehicle,” says police spokesman Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu.
The duo will soon appear in the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court.
