Locals invited to church event

Kwatsaduza – The community is invited to attend an event, to be held at the Circuit Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Midrand.

“This will be our first Bi-Annual One Day Circuit Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses event and the programme theme will be: ‘Maintain Love for Jehovah’, which is based on Mathew 22:37.

“Jesus placed great importance on us obeying this command, therefore our circuit assembly will on January 21 and 22, discuss things that could weaken our love for God or cause it to grow cold,” says church member Sizwe Dlangamandla from KwaThema.

Those who wish to participate can therefore choose which day to attend, between the two.

“All are invited to go and listen to discussions that’ll help them learn, on how to reflect their love for God more fully – how they should treat their Christian brothers and sisters, their family and their neighbours.

“The bible has the power to transform us, bringing our thoughts and ways into harmony with God.

“Full utilisation of it, therefore helps us navigate successfully in our lives and helps us to effectively assist others,” he says.

Dlangamandla adds that this one day free educational programme will be of specific help to individuals, families and communities – hence all are invited.

The event is also free of charge and can be attended by people from any cultures, religions and backgrounds.

“We put high importance on making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

“All attendees are encouraged to bring their personal bible – and feel free to bring your lunch,” he concluded.
