He made a stop at Motsugi Street in White City where he stopped, as he saw his friend.
“While talking, the two friends were allegedly approached by two unknown men who were both armed with firearms.

“The duo pointed a weapon at them and demanded the car keys.
“The hijacker also stripped the complainant and friend of their cell phones, took control of the vehicle – registration number DH 36 PK GP – and fled the scene,” says police’s Cap Thabo Sibuyi.
A case of hijacking is being investigated.

Sibuyi stresses that they continue to warn residents to stop parking their vehicle next to a road, especially at night, as this makes them easy targets for criminals.
