Become an African Reporter vendor

For over 50 years, the African Reporter has been on your doorstep, giving you your weekly dose of local community news.

The newspapers is therefore inviting all residents living in and around Kwatsaduza who are interested in selling the newspaper to come and register as vendors.

Distribution supervisor Lea-Anne Swanepoel explains that this opportunity awards locals a chance to be their own boss while making an income and further being rewarded for their loyalty.

“Through this initiative you are able to buy, sell and make a good profit for yourself because as a vendor, each newspaper costs you 75c to buy while you sell it for R1.50.

“This therefore means that you will be making a 100% profit,” she says.

Swanepoel adds that there are also loyalty incentives available to those who are able to order 200 or more papers weekly without skipping a single week for six months.

“If you order 200 or more newspapers from the first week of distribution to the last in June and from the first week of July to the last in December you get back 22c for each copy you bought during each period.

“Aspiring vendors should therefore note that January to June is the first period and July to December is the second period.

“Any copies you do not sell will not be taken back or refunded by the company,” she emphasises.
