According to the police, the complainant (62) says when he left the church premises at 5pm, all was in order.
“All the gates, doors and windows were properly locked and closed, on Wednesday.
“But the following day when the complaint arrived, he discovered that the toilet door was forced open,” says Capt Thabo Sibuyi.

When the old man proceeded inside, he noticed four silver taps were stolen – while some of the basins were also broken.
No arrests have been made.
