These included effective ways of running an upcoming business and offering education on development opportunities to them.

One of the organisers, Nkosinathi Zwane, says they are pleased to have received such a great response from the community.

“Through this event, we provided development support to upcoming business entrepreneurs and committed to taking care of those needing help in business.

“We as various businesses will also help in effective mentoring, intervention and advocacy programmes, plus promoting innovation and enterprising solutions for young people within the area.

“As promised, we will also have a draw of five lucky entrepreneurs who will win vouchers.

“These will award them an opportunity to get business registration, a tax clearance certificate and six months of mentorship – and lessons on how to obtain funding and a Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Certificate of Compliance,” he says.
