Uniting music lovers

Kwatsaduza - The East Rand Male Symphony will host it second annual Male Choir Extravaganza.

The spectacle will take place on Saturday at the HH Ngakane Hall at the KwaThema Centre from 1pm till 6pm.

“Aim of the choral extravaganza is to revive male choirs within the Ekurhuleni area.

“It is also to raise funds for our annual community outreach programme which will help impoverished organisations around Ekurhuleni,” says secretary general of the group, Kagiso Mogaswane.

Groups set to perform at the affair include PE Viola Men’s Chorus from the Eastern Cape, Unity Male Voices from the Free State and Welch Male Choir from Gauteng.

In addition, the Anglo Gold Male Voices from Gauteng, Boksburg Correctional Services Male Choir, the Sempre Brio which is a male trio from Mpumalanga and the hosts, the East Rand Male Symphony, will also be taking to the stage.
