Caswell movement celebrates success

KwaThema – To celebrate the many successes of their quest to curb domestic violence and crime in the community, Caswell Stop Abuse Movement hosted a thanksgiving ceremony.

Last Friday, community members and stakeholders of the organisation came together to honour the organisation and the community that has assisted in making sure that the campaigns and programmes made an impact.

Caswell Gxowa, the founder of the movement, says in the 14 years the movement has been in existence they have had so much support from the SAPS, EMPD and the community which has allowed for them to carry out their mission.

“We are so blessed to have stakeholders who saw the need for our movement in helping our police to fight crime and other social skills.

“Going forward we’d like to strengthen our relationships and also get as many people involved as possible in order to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone living in KwaThema,” he explains.

The event saw lunch served for all and senior citizens entertained the guests with games.
