Missing man’s body found near his KwaThema house

Alfred Siyabulela (31) was on his way home when he collapsed and died on Mncube Street, KwaThema on Sunday.

He left his house in Masuku Street at 11.15pm, on Saturday to buy drinks and never returned.

His family found his body on Sunday and called the police.

W/O David Mphali KwaThema, police spokesman, says when the police arrived at the scene, they noticed the deceased had a bullet wound to the chest.

SAPS called the ambulance and the paramedics declared Siyabulela dead at the scene.

According to Mphali community members allegedly saw the deceased walking towards his house and they claim he was falling and getting up again.

They thought he was drunk and didn’t take much notice.

“The community claims they saw the deceased entering the yard in Mncube Street and thought he lives there,” says Mphali.

His body was taken to Springs Mortuary.

Mphali says the police opened a murder case at the police station.
