This comes after an incident that occurred on Sunday at about 5am, where a man (age unknown) was allegedly assaulted at a house in Kodisang Street, Masimini Section.
“The man was allegedly found breaking into a house in the area.
“The angry community members who found him, then allegedly assaulted the man.
“He was taken to the Pholosong Hospital and later transferred to Johannesburg General Hospital where he later died,” explains police spokesman Capt Thabo Sibuyi.
He adds no arrests have been made, but police are investigating a case of murder.
“We continue to plead with the community not to take the law into their own hands.
“As the KwaThema police, we are also asking for anyone with any information regarding this incident to come forward,” he adds.
