Giving to those in need
KwaThema – Members of Amadodana ase Weseli, from the KwaThema Central Methodist Church, recently donated to a centre in Tsakane, catering to children who are living with disabilities.
The much needed essentials handed over to the Tsakane Therapy Centre comprised of some groceries and blankets.
“We were touched by the centre and the work they do, therefore we decided to collect money so that we could buy these items for them.
“This was just so we could put a smile on the faces of these children.
“We thank Rev Smadz Motsepe who taught us the importance of outreach, because since then we have donated to numerous places,” says team leader from the Methodist Church, Thami Mkhondwana.
He adds that if there are other organisations which are in need of assistance they can ask for help and the church will see where they can assist.
Mkhondwana further challenged other men’s organisations to look at giving back to their communities, so as men they can make a positive difference together.
